Burlington, Ont., June 29, 2018 – Terrapure Environmental Ltd. (“Terrapure”), one of Canada’s leading providers of innovative environmental solutions, today announced it has completed its acquisition of the Canadian industrial services and waste management operations of Envirosystems Incorporated (“Envirosystems”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Envirosystems specializes in providing industrial and waste management services to a broad range of industry sectors, including petrochemical/refineries, marine, mining, municipal, and pulp and paper. Envirosystems has over 1,000 employees and 25 locations across Canada to serve its diverse customer base. Like Terrapure, Envirosystems partners with customers to provide cost-effective solutions to their environmental and waste management challenges.

Terrapure is working closely with the Envirosystems senior management team to finalize integration plans for the two organizations and is committed to ensuring a seamless transition for its customers, including the eventual re-branding of Envirosystems to Terrapure.
Envirosystems’ former ownership group is retaining Envirosystems’ catalyst changeout business as well as its U.S. specialty industrial services businesses which are in the process of being rebranded as Maviro. Maviro is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has 13 locations across the United States.
