Daniel Sonshine joined TorQuest in 2004. As Managing Partner, Daniel is responsible for providing leadership to all aspects of the firm. In his over twenty years at the firm, Daniel has led many investments, mostly focused on industrials and consumer products, and was previously Chairman of the Investment Committee. Daniel sits on a number of the portfolio company Board of Directors and is the lead on three current investments. He also serves as a Director of the Sinai Health Foundation and is actively involved with the United Jewish Appeal. Prior to TorQuest, Daniel worked at CIBC Capital Partners, where he was involved in various private equity and subordinated debt transactions.
Daniel graduated as the Gold Medalist from the combined J.D./M.B.A. program at the University of Toronto and received an A.B. (cum laude) in Economics from Harvard University.
